Friends of Montgomery County Texas Animal Shelter (FMCTAS)

is a Texas 501(c)3 Non-Profit organization dedicated to saving and providing medical assistance, spay, and neutering to the animals.

On average, 2000 dogs and cats are brought into the shelter (located at 8535 Highway 242 just east of I-45) each month. All of these animals are required to be spay or neutered and many of these animals desperately need medical attention, but Montgomery County does not have the funds to support their treatment, therefore we need your help.

Friends of Montgomery County Texas animal shelter non-profit is now registered at KROGER + RANDALL'S. Stores will donate a percentage of your purchases to FMCTAS, so we can keep saving shelter and stray animals. Print the Kroger page below and bring it once, to scan it with your Kroger card. At Randall's, give FMCTAS pin 12421 to add to your card. It is FREE and will not take away your personal points with these stores.

Generous Grant From East Montgomery County Improvement
District Results In Spay And Neuter Vouchers

Friends of Montgomery County Texas Animal Shelter (FMCTAS) was awarded a $4,000 grant by East Montgomery County Improvement District thanks to FMCTAS member Barbara Eagan! As a result, we had a spay and neuter clinic where FMCTAS gave away vouchers for 72 spays and 52 neuters. The surgeries are being performed at the Montgomery County Animal Shelter (MCAS) located on Highway 242. These numbers are just a small percentage of the hundreds of animals that have received operations due to direct support from FMCTAS since it's creation in mid 2007.

The Montgomery County Animal Shelter is expanding! For a limited time, we are selling bricks with engraving of your choice to become a permanent part of the shelter expansion!
All proceeds benefit the sick and injured animals at the shelter through FMCTAS (Friends of Montgomery County Texas Animal Shelter).
Cost is as follows:

Small 4in x 4in brick $50 (up to 3 lines, 12 characters max each line)
Large 8in x 8in brick $100 (up to 6 lines, 12 characters max each line)
