Foster Information
The MCTAS foster program involves taking a dog or a cat of your choice into your home. This is a rewarding program that allows you to bond and care for an animal for as little as one week or until it is adopted. MCTAS has adoptions every day at the shelter or off site on weekends where your foster pet can be adopted.

FMCTAS operates on donations only!

FMCTAS
Friends of Montgomery County Texas Animal Shelter non-profit helps foster parents with pre-approved medical expenses for the shelter animals in their care. Call Belinda (foster and volunteer coordinator) @ 936-520-1604

Fostering saves animals lives!
Many times the only thing which saves an shelter dog or cats life, that needs medical help, is to get the animal into foster care. FMCTAS pays for the medical care needed. Once an animal is healthy it can then be adopted out.

Puppies especially need to be put into foster care to get them out of the shelter environment, so that they can develop properly and are not exposed to other sick animals.

Please help save an animals life, signup to foster today!
