Making a donation to Friends of Montgomery County Texas Animals Shelters is one of the simplest things you can do to save a life and prevent pet homelessness.  Here are just a few of the ways FMCTAS has helped Montgomery County Animal Shelter since 2007. 

FMCTAS has spent hundreds of thousands of dollars on veterinary bills to treat or save the lives of sick and injured animals that come into the shelter everyday. We have seven veterinary clinics who work with us to provide a much needed service, often at short notice.


FMCTAS also pays for the food and medical care of the shelter animals being fostered while they await adoption.

FMCTAS has supplied Montgomery County Animal Shelter over the years with many supplies including, but not limited to the following items -        

• 3 fridges
• 2 generators ($7000)
• Washing Machine  ($1300)
• 5 solid wood desks
• Conference Table
• 36 Dog Crates ($5,000)
• Off-site Adoption supplies
• 80 Kuranda Beds ($4,000)
• Over 2,900 lbs of food
• Marketing Materials
• Food ($1000)and water bowls ($1500) 
• 5 Shopping Carts
• Hundreds of collars and leashes
• Over 400 Linens and Towels
• 8 lockers for cleaning materials
• Vacuum Cleaner
• Supplies and labor for the new Cat Room
• 2 Large Metal Wired Fences for the Dog Run ($2,000)
• Horse Trailer to transport animals to off-site adoptions
• Hundreds of Leukemia and Heartworm Tests  
• 5 Nebulizers ($250)

 
In addition, FMCTAS has spent hundreds of thousands of dollars on veterinary bills to treat or save the lives of sick and injured animals that come into the shelter everyday.

FMCTAS also pays for the treatment of shelter and stray animals being fostered while they await adoption. 

FMCTAS organizes and manages regular off-site Adoption Events at several venues. Anyone fostering an animal may bring their animal along, increasing the chance of adoption.
